Litigation Legal Assistant

What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a team of litigation attorneys. Prepare, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other materials. Assist with court filings and ensure documents are submitted accurately and on time. Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, depositions, hearings, and other appointments. Maintain organized electronic and physical files and case-related documentation. Assist with discovery, document preparation, and litigation-related projects. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals. Monitor deadlines and proactively assist attorneys with upcoming tasks and priorities. Coordinate meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and other scheduling needs. Enter and maintain timekeeping and billing information as needed. Assist with document management, mailings, correspondence, and other administrative responsibilities. Handle confidential client and case information with professionalism and discretion. Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and other administrative professionals to provide exceptional client service. What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a legal assistant , preferably supporting litigation attorneys. Familiarity with litigation terminology, procedures, and court filings. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong proofreading and document-formatting skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology. Professional demeanor and strong client-service skills. Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
