Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Description Job Description This is a 100% Mobile position that requires ourLVNto drive throughout the South LA and Central LA areas with areas including but not limited to SAN GABRIEL, BELL, SOUTH GATE, LONG BEACH, WEST HOLLYWOOD, LINCOLN HEIGHTS, SAN PEDRO, MONTEBELLOetc. Compass Palliative Care is looking for a professional, driven, and experienced LicensedVocationalNurse (LVN) to see patients in their homes and provide the following care: Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition to theappropriate healthcareprofessionals. Document all care provided andmaintainaccuratemedical records. Follow established care plans andassistwith implementing therapeutic interventions. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients. Previousexperience as anLVNin Hospice or in a similar role is preferred but notrequired. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with special needs. Strong organizational skills to keep track of clients’ medical documentation. Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and willingness to drive throughoutthe SouthLos Angeles. This is aper diemposition. Compensation for this role will be a flat fee of $35 per patient seen.
