Nurse (Occupational Health)

Duties

Administers and oversees employee health programs, including immunization tracking, tuberculosis screening, influenza vaccination compliance, and infectious disease exposure follow-up for staff, contractors, students, and volunteers.

Manages the Blood Borne Pathogen Program by coordinating exposure response activities, maintaining compliance documentation, counseling employees, and supporting infection prevention practices.

Assists with the Respiratory Protection Program by conducting fit testing, medical clearances, employee training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and NIOSH requirements.

Monitors employee safety incidents, workplace injuries, and occupational exposures while coordinating reporting, workers' compensation follow-up, and corrective actions with HR and Safety staff.

Maintains employee health records and reporting systems, prepares compliance and immunization reports, updates policies and procedures, and provides employee health education across the Service Unit.
