VP, Head of Investor Relations (San Jose)

For our client, we are seeking a VP Head Of Investor Relations to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location: San Jose, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $224,000 – $492,500 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a compelling investment narrative around HPE''s strategic evolution
- Advise executive leadership on investor communications and capital market strategies
- Modernize IR processes with an AI-focused approach and improve engagement efficiency
- Analyze market trends and sentiments to refine leadership messaging
- Broaden HPE''s shareholder base by engaging long-term institutional investors
- Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership and influence external perceptions
Qualifications
- Experience leading an investor relations function in a large, publicly traded company
- Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear investment narratives
- Expertise in IR infrastructure and earnings cycle management
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to align across complex organizations
- Proven influence at the executive level and collaborative leadership style
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in a management role
- Bachelor''s degree required
