Role Description

Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs to make freight deliveries or collect shipments and packages
Keeping and organizing delivery orders, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
Communicating with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests to assure 100% customer satisfaction
Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed
Preparing dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices
Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times
Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply
Reviewing drivers' logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times
Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules
Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints

Work Schedule & Compensation

Office Hours: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Hourly Pay: $19.13 - (TBD based on experience)
