Dental Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. In this role, you will work closely with dentists and patients to ensure high-quality clinical care and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Assist the dentist during procedures (handing instruments, suctioning, etc.) Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and update patient records Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, charting, and patient intake Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene best practices Qualifications 1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant (or relevant training) Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments Active Dental Assistant certification (if required by state) Experience with digital X-rays and dental software preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting Preferred CPR/BLS certification Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar systems Bilingual (optional, based on location needs) #J-18808-Ljbffr
