We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented caregiver to support a private client with a neurological condition in his home. This isn't a general caregiving role, our client has a specific routine that keeps him healthy and comfortable, and we need someone who takes that seriously. What the Job Actually Looks Like

Your shift runs primarily in the afternoon and evening. Here's a realistic picture of what you'll be doing:

• Medication administration on a timed schedule — this client takes multiple medications throughout the evening at specific times (4PM, 5PM, 8:30PM, 9PM and others). You need to be organized and consistent. Missing a dose or giving it late isn't acceptable.
• Vital signs monitoring — you'll check blood pressure before certain medications and know what numbers mean you need to act.
• Wound and skin care — applying creams to specific areas (tailbone, shin) as part of a nightly routine to prevent breakdown.
• Nasal spray treatments — multiple sprays at different times of the evening, each documented.
• Catheter care — applying a catheter as part of the bedtime routine.
• Meal prep and dinner — the client has a chef who prepares meals in advance. You'll pull from refrigerator or freezer, plate the meal, track how much he ate, and prep the next day's food (moving 1 frozen meals to the fridge, preparing fruit cups and salad bowls).
• Household tasks — kitchen cleanup, laundry (dry, fold, put away), checking mail, bringing in packages, monitoring supply levels and ordering via Instacart when stock runs low.
• End of night routine — getting the client settled for bed includes setting up the humidifier, making sure his phone, emergency necklace, Apple Watch, and call button are all within reach before you wrap up.

Everything follows a checklist. You won't be guessing what needs to happen — it's laid out. Your job is to execute it accurately, document what you did, and flag anything that looks off.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in home health care, personal care, or a similar caregiving role
• Comfort with medication administration and timed med schedules
• Experience with catheter care, skin/wound care, or willingness to be trained
• Someone who actually pays attention to detail — this client's health depends on consistency
• Ability to monitor vitals and know when something warrants a call to a healthcare provider
• Calm, steady, and patient — this client lives with a neurological condition and needs a caregiver who doesn't get flustered
• Strong documentation habits
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification before starting)
• Reliable — if you say you're going to be there, you're there

Nice to Have

• Experience with Parkinson's, MSA, or other movement/neurological disorders
• Familiarity with EMR or basic digital documentation tools
• Experience with condom catheter application
• Comfort working independently in a private home setting

Schedule & Compensation

Shifts are primarily Morning & Evening Shifts. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
