Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the GI Lab to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires clinical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care in the GI Lab setting.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to emergent situations promptly.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and care plans accurately.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or a related specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a specialized clinical setting.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work the scheduled hours from 6:30 am to 5 pm for 13-week assignment.
