Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT or PsyD) - Renton

Job Summary The Mental Health Therapist works at one or more assigned sites within our health and wellness centers. This position serves as a member of our interdisciplinary health care team for the purpose of optimizing whole-person health and wellness. The Mental Health Therapist counsels individuals, couples, families, and groups and provides mental health consultation within the health center and to the assigned Crossover client organization. Responsibilities Apply training and experience in collaborating with allied health professionals to facilitate and support positive mental health change. Apply experience and training in employer settings, including presenting psycho-educational programs, promoting services, consulting to the organization, and leading critical incident debriefing sessions. Use a variety of assessment and intervention techniques to address mental health problems. Understand HIPAA requirements for mental health records and substance abuse records and maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Review clinical data and make recommendations for programmatic changes, acquisition of clinical tools, and opportunities for collaboration and innovation to maximize favorable clinical outcomes while minimizing medical costs. Perform case management when service needs exceed the scope of the practice. Follow the code of ethics associated with the licensing body of their respective certification. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LMFT, LPCC or PsyD. Maintain LCSW license in good standing during employment. Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across the mental health, family relationships, addiction and recovery, and work‑related spectrum. Proficient in evidence-based treatments (CBT, ACT and DBT). Must have attended an APA accredited program. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Preferred Qualifications Ability to inspire respect, trust, and confidence. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; including expertise with presentation skills. Ability to establish therapeutic alliances and rapport required to work with a diverse patient population. Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures while still working within the collaborative team framework. Proficient computer and technology skills. Physical Job Requirements May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand‑eye coordination. Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
