This position involves setting up, operating, and editing programs on large CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components. Candidates must be able to work independently, maintain print specifications, and ensure quality throughout the machining process. This is a skilled trade position and not a machine-tending role.The role includes working with large CNC equipment such as horizontal boring mills and vertical mills equipped with Fanuc controls, rotary tables, and automatic tool changers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set up and operate large CNC milling machines according to engineering printsEdit and maintain CNC programs to meet print and quality requirementsMachine precision-finished parts and pre-machined componentsLoad and unload parts using overhead cranes and manual methodsCollaborate with programming to improve machining processesMonitor machining operations and make adjustments as neededInspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentMeet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standardsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience operating large CNC milling machinesAbility to read and interpret complex machining and mechanical drawingsStrong knowledge of CNC machining processes and toolingProficiency with precision measuring toolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 poundsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityBenefits: We recognize people as our most valuable asset.
