Job Title: Registered Nurse – Recovery (RN)

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks

• Schedule: 3x12-hour Night Shifts (36 hours/week)

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Days: Monday–Friday Schedule

Candidate Requirements

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures and anesthesia.

• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patients' vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or post-operative complications.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, medications, and recovery expectations.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting comfort, safety, and positive clinical outcomes.
