Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural)– Industrial EPC & Data Center ConstructionLocation: Channelview, TXFully onsite. 40-45 hours week M - F. Minimal travel.About this RolePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our team in Houston, TX to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.The Senior Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC and design-build projects. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, material takeoffs, labor productivity, and cost controls.What You'll DoPrepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with primary emphasis on piping and mechanical systemsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Microsoft ExcelReview drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate and complete estimatesCollaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions and execution strategiesDevelop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposalsDevelop construction schedules in Microsoft ProjectAnalyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, ensuring alignment with project scope and estimating standardsIdentify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunitiesSupport bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post-bid handoff meetingsMaintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and productivity benchmarksWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. OR 10 years experience in lieu of degree.10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, with a strong focus on mechanical/piping scopesStrong working knowledge of civil and structural construction methods and cost driversAdvanced proficiency with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft ExcelAbility to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, civil drawings, and structural plansStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience supporting EPC or design-build project delivery models, preferredMinimal travel for pre-bid site visits.Type: direct hire
