Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the PT
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and responses
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current state license or compact license eligibility for Massachusetts
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
• Ability to adapt treatment techniques to individual patient needs
• Excellent documentation and time management skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
