Position Summary

Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting schools in McAlester, Ada, Prague, and Atoka, OK. This role is in a school setting and involves working under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, deliver therapy activities, collect progress data, and assist with communication devices and classroom-based supports.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the licensed SLP.
• Provide individual and group therapy to school-aged children across speech, language, voice, and fluency domains.
• Monitor and document student progress and report outcomes to the supervising SLP.
• Assist with communication devices and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home routines.
• Prepare materials and maintain therapy documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant credential as required by Oklahoma state or meet state-specific SLPA eligibility requirements.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred. Experience with caseloads of school-aged children is preferred.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and follow IEP-driven treatment plans.
• Experience with AAC and communication devices preferred.
• Required clearances and background checks as mandated by the school district and state regulations.
