Position SummaryThe SAP Procurement (Source-to-Order) Functional Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise procurement processes and technologies, with primary responsibility for the SAP Ariba Source-to-Order suite and integration with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM). The analyst will lead projects, enhancements, and business process transformation initiatives while serving as the bridge between Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, software vendors, system integrators, and IT architecture teams.This role requires strong functional expertise across procurement, sourcing, supplier collaboration, supplier lifecycle management and risk and SAP Business Network with Commerce Automation. The analyst will work closely with internal Enterprise Architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors and system integrators to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-focused procurement solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Enhancement DeliveryLead end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects supporting procurement in Source-to-Order processes.Facilitate business process design workshops and requirements gathering sessions.Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, user experience, automation, and compliance.Partner with business stakeholders to define future-state procurement capabilities and roadmaps.SAP Ariba Functional OwnershipPrimary ownership of:SAP Ariba Buying/Guided BuyingSAP Ariba Catalog ManagementSAP Ariba Approval WorkflowsSAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management & Risk ManagementSAP Spend Analytics and TaxonomySAP Business Network for ProcurementCommerce AutomationSupplier EnablementSupplier CollaborationRequisition-to-Purchase Order processesSupplier onboarding and adoption activitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Configuration oversight and solution design.Guided Buying intake and buying channel strategy.Catalog and PunchOut integrations.Approval workflow design and governance.Supplier enablement planning and execution.User adoption and change management support.SAP Business Network & Commerce AutomationServe as the functional lead for SAP Business Network capabilities.Design and support procurement collaboration processes including:Purchase OrdersPurchase Order ConfirmationsAdvance Shipping Notices (ASN)Work closely with suppliers and enablement teams to maximize network adoption.Coordinate Trading Relationship Requests (TRRs) and supplier onboarding activities.Support supplier integration strategiesSAP S/4HANA MM IntegrationAct as the procurement functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Materials Management.Collaborate with MM, Finance, Supply Chain, and Master Data teams.Design and support integrations involving:Vendor Master DataMaterial Master DataPurchase RequisitionsPurchase OrdersGoods ReceiptsService Entry SheetsInvoice ProcessingApproval WorkflowsPartner with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network, CIG, and SAP S/4HANA.Architecture & Integration CollaborationWork closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and roadmaps.Participate in solution architecture reviews and design governance.Review integration designs with middleware, SAP Basis, security, and technical teams.Support integration efforts involving:SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)SAP Business NetworkOpenText VIMSAP DatasphereSpend Intelligence platformsContract Lifecycle Management solutionsProvide functional oversight for testing and defect resolution across systems.Vendor & System Integrator ManagementCoordinate activities with software vendors and system integrators.Review deliverables, functional designs, and project documentation.Participate in vendor selection and solution evaluations.Ensure system integrators adhere to project standards and business requirements.Escalate and resolve project issues impacting scope, timeline, or quality.Testing & Release ManagementLead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and deployment planning.Support quarterly SAP release assessments and impact reviews.Coordinate testing activities across business and IT teams.Ensure production readiness and operational support documentation are completed.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Experience10+ years of SAP Procurement functional experience.7+ years of SAP Ariba experience.Experience delivering enterprise software projects in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or operations environments.Experience collaborating with external software vendors and system integrators.Experience supporting global or multi-site deployments.A Career with Refresco Refresco is passionate about empowering leaders who reflect our core values and live by our leadership behaviors.
