Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring for a Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a major company and has career growth otential.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

Pay rate: $18.60 per hour
Onsite interviews required. Training: Mon - Fri 8a- 4:30pm
Perm: Mon - Thur: 9a - 530p & Fri 8a - 430pm
The positions will be 100% Prescription Entry (data entry) roles.

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

Collect and input prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
Assist in insurance verification activities by contacting insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations.
Manage cash register operations, process payments, and accurately manage financial transactions.
Provide patient education and counseling on over-the-counter medications, including dosage instructions and potential side effects.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, laws, and guidelines, including patient confidentiality.
Prioritize tasks, manage customer queues, and communicate effectively with pharmacy personnel.
Provide training and mentoring to less experienced pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Pharmacy Technician QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Information

This position requires onsite work.
Typical hours are subject to scheduling and are communicated during onboarding.
Onsite interviews are required.

Education/Licenses Needed

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
Verifiable High School diploma or GED required.
