Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ED RN experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of ED RN experience required - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications required Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI. Experience with TNCC is preferred. General emergency department skillset is needed, including cardiac rhythm interpretation, vent management, and chest tube care. The nurse will need to be familiar with critical care drips, IV starts, and ESI assessments. Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5, based on acuity. The position may require floating to other facilities within the region as needed. Weekend rotation and holiday work are expected. The candidate will work 75% of holidays during the contract.
