Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your schedule while supporting a diverse client population. Our practice operates as a Community Health Clinic, ensuring that we provide essential services to a wide array of clients, including those from varied backgrounds and experiences. We are open seven days a week, from 7 AM to 10 PM, promoting work-life balance while facilitating client accessibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as an LCPC will include a range of clinical responsibilities aimed at facilitating healing and resilience in clients who have experienced trauma. Specific duties will encompass:

  • Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and inform treatment strategies.

  • Creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique journey toward recovery.

  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive care.

  • Providing crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and immediate response.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and include individuals facing a range of challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. You will provide care to clients who may be experiencing significant life transitions or crises, requiring a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to therapy. We prioritize creating a safe environment where clients feel empowered to share their narratives and actively engage in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution, along with a current and valid license as an LCPC in the state of Illinois. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a solid foundation in trauma-related disorders and are passionate about delivering trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients. Experience in providing trauma-focused therapies, alongside proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, will set you apart. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, along with a generous sign-on bonus and the potential for annual increases and bonus opportunities.
