Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:

The NICU Registered Nurse position requires a highly skilled clinician to provide specialized care for neonates in a level III or IV NICU setting. This weekend-only role demands dedication to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to treatments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Educate families on neonatal care and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Valid license in hand as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years recent NICU experience in a Level III or IV facility.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• PALS certification (AHA only!) is mandatory.
• Experience with travel assignments preferred.
• Ability to work exclusively weekends (Saturday & Sunday) plus one weekday night shift.
