Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian Salary: $70,000 - 80,000/yr

Registered Dietitian Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nutrition care process to conduct a comprehensive assessment for residents upon admission and routine reassessment.
Facilitate nutrition related care for residents on both short-term rehab and long-term care units.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to determine appropriate plan of care for residents.
Monitor resident’s dietary intake, weight, lab values and habits.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families.
Participate in care plan meetings, quality improvement initiatives and nutrition programs.
Ensure compliance with state, federal and facility regulations.
Complete MDS assessment in compliance with state guidelines.
Collaborate with dietary staff for menu planning and to oversee foodservice operations as needed.
Registered Dietitian Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field
Current state licensure (or eligibility) in New York
Previous experience in clinical setting preferred
