What We Need The Senior Director of IT oversees our IT operations, architecture planning, security protocols, data management, and IT staff. As the company grows, this role will be critical in helping ensure we scale appropriately and have a long-term sustainable plan. This role reports directly to the CFO, helping to ensure linkage to strategy & revenue plans but also will be heavily involved in Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing support. Responsibilities Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems) Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff Ensure current ERP system, NetSuite is performing at optimal levels and support of each team's specific requirements Responsible for determining the format and features of the website to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with Marketing to develop and alter the website as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 8+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects, including acquisitions Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, MS Access, and others Knowledge of NetSuite, specifically Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization and to outside customers Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Strong knowledge of project management principles This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of driving innovation and optimizing enterprise systems to meet evolving business needs.
