Position Overview Senior Clinical Specialist, CPT – Phoenix, AZ Key role within Abbott’s Neuromodulation business to deliver clinical and technical support, drive therapy adoption, and support territory growth. Responsibilities Provide technical, clinical, and device programming assistance primarily for Territory Managers to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and support. Deliver high‑quality service and technical support for accounts, demonstrating advanced clinical competency. Proficiently program, troubleshoot, and support complex devices and cases. Mentor and train assigned Clinical Specialists to develop clinical competency and proficiency. Conduct longitudinal patient follow‑up care by monitoring therapy progress, addressing issues, and collaborating with care teams to optimize outcomes and satisfaction. Engage with existing and prospective healthcare providers to address clinical questions, demonstrate product value, and support therapy adoption. Identify customer training needs during all phases of the clinical process and deliver targeted education to increase usage, comfort, and adoption. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 6+ years of relevant work experience as a Clinical Specialist. 6+ years of experience working with patients in a clinical setting. Exceptional clinical competence. Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area (travel percentage varies by region). Capability to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate at multiple levels and to large groups. Additional Requirements Standard work shift. Travel: Yes, approximately 25% of the time. Medical Surveillance: No. Significant work activities include continuous standing or walking for prolonged periods, driving a personal or company vehicle, or using powered material handling equipment.
