Cafe Sylvia is a full-service casual breakfast restaurant located on the hotel's lower level with epic views of the water. With a fresh new menu featuring literary themes, our hotel, and a fully renovated dining room, this will be a fast-paced, dynamic opportunity. Join the team and be a part of something new for the community. We seek a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Cafe Sylvia Server. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring they have a positive dining experience. Responsibilities: Greet customers and take their orders Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu items Serve food and beverages promptly Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with guests and addressing any issues or concerns Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: Previous experience in a restaurant service role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Benefits and Hours: Breakfast Service shifts will range from 7:30 a.m. to Noon. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hotel Sylvia
