Parts Runner
The Parts Runner is responsible for delivering requested parts to internal clients. Maintain control and good management of the physical inventory. Responsible for dispatch, collection, storage, and disposal of materials in the parts warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accommodating received merchandise.
- Sending "Core" radios by postal mail.
- Washing and basic maintenance of the Parts van.
- Handling and supporting the delivery route of merchandise to "Whole Sales" clients.
- Organizing the parts warehouse.
- Organizing and maintaining the "scrapping" area.
- Preparing and dispatching merchandise from goods for delivery to clients in a timely, effective, and safe manner.
- Collecting emergency purchase orders.
- Performing spot checks as required.
- Working on "Cores" that will be returned to GM.
- Utilizing CDK system and any other assigned system for parts dispatch such as Pick Ticket Printer.
- Additional functions not contemplated in this document may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Fourth year grade/equivalent or associate degree in general.
- Basic knowledge in automotive systems.
- Experience in inventory management.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge in the parts catalog system.
