Jr Systems Administrator

Position Summary Riordan Centers for Clinical Medicine (RCCM) is consolidating its clinical and business systems onto a modern, unified technology stack across multiple locations. We are seeking a full-time System Administrator to help manage, maintain, and support all RCCM applications as the organization transitions to new platforms and builds toward a unified Microsoft environment, a strengthened cybersecurity posture, and consolidated web operations. This is a growth-oriented role, ideal for a motivated early-career professional who wants hands‑on exposure across clinical systems, CRM, web platforms, identity management, and security. The System Administrator will work closely with implementation partners and internal leadership during the current systems rollout and will grow into an expanded role as the organization’s technology and security programs mature. Key Responsibilities Systems & Application Support Provide day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for RCCM’s clinical, business, and CRM applications. Serve as a primary point of contact for end‑user technical support requests across multiple locations, escalating complex issues as needed. Support the ongoing migration and consolidation of applications onto a unified technology stack, working alongside implementation partners and vendors. Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, credentials, and support procedures. Microsoft Environment & Identity Management Assist in building out and administering a unified Microsoft 365 / Azure Active Directory environment, including user provisioning, licensing, groups, and permissions. Support identity and access management practices, including onboarding/offboarding workflows and role‑based access controls. Help standardize device management and endpoint configuration across locations. Cybersecurity Support implementation of security best practices, including multi‑factor authentication, endpoint protection, and patch management. Assist in monitoring for security incidents and help execute response procedures under guidance from leadership and security partners. Contribute to the development of RCCM’s growing security posture, including policies, training, and awareness initiatives. Web & CRM Operations Support consolidation and maintenance of RCCM’s web properties, working with implementation partners on hosting, structure, and functionality. Assist with CRM administration, including user support, data integrity checks, and basic configuration changes. Project & Vendor Coordination Partner with external implementation vendors and internal leadership throughout the current systems rollout, tracking action items and timelines. Participate in planning discussions for future technology and security initiatives as the role and IT function mature. Required Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. 1-3 years of experience in a system administration, IT support, or helpdesk role. Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration. Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls). Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical staff. Willingness and ability to travel between RCCM locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, or other regulated business systems. Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar). Exposure to web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) or web hosting environments. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar. Interest in growing into a broader IT security or infrastructure leadership role. Skills & Competencies Self‑starter with a strong growth mindset and eagerness to learn new platforms and technologies. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment during an active systems transition. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly around documentation and access management. Collaborative approach to working with implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders across departments and locations. Sound judgment regarding data security and confidentiality, particularly given RCCM’s clinical operating environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role primarily operates in an office/clinical administrative setting and requires regular travel between RCCM locations. Some after‑hours or on‑call support may be required during system migrations, security incidents, or critical outages.
