Tennis Pro Shop Attendant
The Tennis Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while supporting the daily operations of the Tennis Pro Shop at The Sea Pines Resort. This position serves as a key point of contact for resort guests, members, and visitors by assisting with retail sales, court reservations, tennis programming, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment aligned with luxury hospitality and Forbes Travel Guide service standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting with court reservations and tennis lesson bookings, accurately processing retail purchases and program transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization, merchandising retail products, answering phone calls and emails, assisting with inventory management, supporting tennis events, maintaining knowledge of resort amenities, ensuring guest interactions reflect resort standards, assisting with opening and closing procedures, working collaboratively with Tennis Professionals and other resort departments, following company safety and operational standards, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include previous retail, hospitality, recreation, or customer service experience, tennis or sports-related experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, professional appearance and demeanor, basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge, ability to work flexible schedules, and being dependable, organized, and guest-focused.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
