Job Description
Surgical Technologist - Level 1 Trauma

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

AM Shift: 19:00 - 07:30, 4 × 12 hr shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team in a Level 1 Trauma environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Scrubbing and Circulating, with a preference for Ortho/Neuro and Da Vinci robotics experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in preparing for and conducting surgeries.
• Maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Handle sterile supplies and perform appropriate sterile techniques.
• Be available for On Call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred.
• Experience in Ortho/Neuro procedures is a plus.
• Da Vinci robotics experience preferred.
• No time off can be requested from 9/1/2026 to 11/15/2026 due to hospital systemwide Epic implementation.
