Position Overview Shift Leads are the backbone of Buncha’s daily operations—serving as an in-store leader responsible for making sure every order is fulfilled accurately, every delivery leaves on time, and every team member is set up for success. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be coaching, solving problems, managing real‑time issues, and ensuring an efficient, high‑performing environment each day. You’ll also be the key liaison between Buncha, our grocery partners, and our field teams. What You’ll Be Doing Lead daily store and delivery operations: Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, vans are dispatched on time, and all workflows are running smoothly. Drive on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction: Keep orders moving on schedule and help improve shopper performance, which directly impacts our customer rating. Manage and coach in‑store teams: Supervise shoppers and drivers during your shift, provide real‑time coaching, and ensure accountability. Adjust staffing and shift pacing based on volume: Proactively evaluate order volume and team bandwidth to make real‑time decisions about breaks, staffing, and priorities. Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed: Quickly address and solve operational problems, escalating major concerns to leadership to avoid delivery delays or customer impact. Ensure SOP adherence and identify improvement opportunities: Make sure team members follow processes, and flag or help update outdated workflows to improve efficiency. Foster a positive, high‑performing team culture: Motivate and engage the team while maintaining a respectful, safe, and energetic workplace. Build strong relationships with Meijer store staff: Collaborate with store leadership and floor teams to maintain a supportive, respectful partnership that helps Buncha operate effectively in‑store.
