Work Schedule: Full Time M-F, occasional Saturdays working: 8:30am-12:15pm

Description: Reports to the Assistant Vice President/Sr. Branch Manager, or the Assistant Branch Manager. In addition to teller duties, the Teller Line Supervisor oversees teller activity and the referral process, cash control, regulatory reporting and audits, scheduling breaks and lunches, corrections, and proving. The Teller Line Supervisor is also instrumental in providing a safe and professional working environment and in the overall training and development of their tellers.

Essential Functions and Activities:

• Responsible for the overall operations of the teller line; is available to answer questions and make supervisory decisions related to transactions, loan payments, closing accounts, and related issues.
• Focus first on member service; performs all teller functions (has window open 80% of a day).
• Accountable for security measures pertaining to all money controls, safety, and security of teller line operations.
• Maintain various required regulatory and compliance-related logs, audits, etc.
• Train, coach and supervisor tellers on all levels of job expectations and performance
• Maintain schedules for your team - including scheduling breaks. Ensure time off requests are forwarded to ABM.
• Reconcile cash, checks, ATM and Branch Master proof and Traveler's checks (where applicable).
• File, maintain, and store records according to the records retention policy.
• Ensure the teller bays, counter, and vault are organized, neat, and professionally maintained.
• Oversee teller equipment (on and off the teller line).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school diploma with minimum 3 years' experience as a teller or like position.
• Some basic knowledge of accounting.
• Detail oriented with proven problem solving and deductive reasoning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Credit Union policy, banking products, and regulations
• Proven supervisory skills with the ability to function as a team player and motivate others in a professional manner.
• Typing and adding machine skills.
