Ultrasound Technologist
University Health
Operates ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality diagnostic images for procedures. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the immediate supervisor and/or radiologist in charge. Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers and University Health System’s employees, patients, doctors and guests. Promotes the UHguest program. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Associates Degree or equivalent experience required. Registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography (R.T.-S.) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and hold current Certified BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association is required, and/or must be eligible to acquire the ARDMS or Ultrasound Registry (ARRT-S) with registry acquisition within one year. One-year ultrasound experience is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
