Clayton Services is seeking an ambitious Recruiter to join our growing Houston team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or an experienced professional looking to launch a rewarding career in recruiting and staffing. No recruiting experience is required. As a Recruiter, you'll play an important role in both by partnering with candidates throughout their job search and helping local businesses build strong teams. Source and identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, social media, and other recruiting resources. Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, career goals, and cultural fit. Build lasting relationships with candidates and serve as a trusted career advisor throughout the hiring process. Match qualified professionals with career opportunities that align with their experience and long-term goals. Prepare and present qualified candidates to clients with detailed interview summaries and recommendations. Coordinate interviews, communicate feedback, negotiate offers, and assist candidates through the onboarding process. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across a variety of industries. Learn each client's business, hiring priorities, and company culture to consistently deliver exceptional candidates. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system. Collaborate with teammates to meet recruiting goals while delivering outstanding service to both clients and candidates. Continuously develop recruiting, interviewing, sales, and business development skills through coaching and ongoing training. Recruiter Skills and Abilities: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish trust and rapport. Highly organized with exceptional time management and follow-up skills. Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset. Comfortable speaking with new people throughout the day by phone, video, text, and email. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment. Ability to prioritize multiple searches and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Professional, confident, and customer-focused approach. Coachable with a genuine desire to learn and continuously improve. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using LinkedIn, CRM, ATS, or recruiting software is a plus. Recruiter Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail management, business development, account management, or other relationship-focused roles is highly desirable. Prior recruiting or staffing experience is a plus but not required. Demonstrated success through academics, athletics, leadership roles, internships, work experience, or extracurricular activities is preferred. Why Clayton Services?
