Part-Time Physical Therapist

Location: Brevard Academy, Brevard, NC Reports to: Exceptional Children Coordinator Employment Type: Part-time (up to 6 hours/week) Position Overview Brevard Academy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with disabilities. The PT helps students access their education by delivering consultative and direct therapy aligned with IEP goals and completing Medicaid billing documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and implement individualized PT services based on IEPs. Provide therapy and recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation. Maintain thorough records and complete Medicaid billing documentation. Attend meetings or trainings as required. Qualifications NC Physical Therapist license (required). Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations preferred. Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
