Fleet Manager

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined team member to help maintain our fleet and support daily recycling operations. This position combines vehicle and equipment maintenance with commercial driving and material handling. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles. Inspect, repair, and maintain roll-off dumpsters and containers. Service and maintain forklifts, balers, and other facility equipment. Operate commercial roll-off trucks to collect used mattresses from customer locations. Hand-load mattresses into trucks and containers as needed. Safely operate forklifts to load and unload semi-trailers. Assist with general facility maintenance and other operational tasks as assigned. Qualifications Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Mechanical aptitude and experience maintaining vehicles or heavy equipment preferred. Experience operating forklifts and commercial trucks is preferred (training may be provided for qualified candidates). Valid and clean driver's license required; CDL is preferred but not required (if applicable). Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety. Previous management or supervisory experience. Mechanical repair and maintenance experience. Welding experience. Commercial driving experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus) Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems. Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment.
