The Expertise You Have

• Database lead with in-depth knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL including experience in system performance Tuning, SQL query analysis and strong scripting experience.
• Build, Deliver, Configure and maintain Oracle databases in AWS and Azure using industry standard deployment tools.
• Standardize and implement Cloud user management, security, capacity, monitoring and configuring application tools
• Deploy, configure and maintain database on Azure and AWS Cloud using standard automation framework and observability tools.
• Experience working on various Cloud Options (AWS/Azure - both flavors - fully managed/IAAS including practical expertise in migrating databases from on-premises to public cloud.
• Expertise in Database Design, HA, Data Migration option, DR site strategy options keeping RPO and RTO requirements.
• Expertise in Golden Gate replication on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) & Exadata
• Significant background in solving complex technology challenges including solid troubleshooting skills with advanced performance SQL tuning expertise.
• Proven expertise in Realtime Application Testing, Oracle and PostgreSQL diagnostic tools.
• Experience in configuring Monitoring tools like Data Dog, OEM and proactive detection.
• Aurora PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Cockroach DB and other cloud native database skills preferred
• Provides technical leadership for Oracle Databases and other enterprise technologies.
• Participate in design reviews and unit testing. Work with the systems analysts to define requirements
• Experience in shell scripting and keen eye to identify opportunities to automate operational tasks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology including Scrum and Kanban. Ability to prioritize work and parallel tasking.
• Strong experience in production support and maintenance of high availability database systems with ability to manage large scale database projects.
