Job Summary:
The Tulsa, Oklahoma, healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Step Down Unit position scheduled to start on 06/29/2026. This assignment involves night shifts in a specialized unit focused on adult and geriatric patient care. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS certifications; at least 1 year of relevant experience; charting experience using the Epic electronic medical record system; community hospital experience preferred; patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience and community hospital experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed
• Additional Information:
  • Unit type: Step Down
  • Skills include managing ports, arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP, blood products, cardiac telemetry, central lines, chest tubes, feeding tubes, Heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drips, neuro step-down care, airway management, pacemaker management, PICC line care, post-MI, TPA, cardiac cath, hemodialysis, procedural sedation, renal failure, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, surgical drains, PPE, and use of rapid response teams, wound care, and wound vacs
  • Experience: 1 year in a relevant clinical setting
  • Charting system: Epic
  • Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are currently unknown
