As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Issuance Driver in Bridgeport, AL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted areas, support employee and visitor flow during high-traffic periods, and communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
