Part-Time Nights Family Centered Care - Mother Baby for Texas Health HEB Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: Part-Time, Night shift, 24 hours weekly, 2-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm 7:00 am Mother/Baby Unit Department highlights: 12 bed Mother Baby and Maternal/Newborn Unit 9 bed LDR, 3 OR suites, 4 bed OB ED unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month Level III NICU Couplet care and Maternal Designation Level III Maternal Designation Certification rate over 50% Nursing Clinical Ladder participation rate over 50%

Here's What You Need: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req 1 year of Mother/Baby experience preferred

What You Will Do: Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
