We are looking for a talented and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our growing surgical team in Salkum. In this key role, you will prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and assist the surgical team during procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will help ensure the safety and success of every surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and ready for use
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery and assist the surgical team by passing instruments and materials
• Perform accurate surgical counts before, during, and after surgery to ensure no instruments are left behind
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical area
• Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff
• Document surgical counts and patient information accurately
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in high-pressure situations
