IT Automation and Quality Engineer

To advance quality initiatives across a diverse product portfolio, the remote IT Automation and Quality Engineer II will design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend systems while supporting CI/CD and release activities in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key responsibilities: Align Quality Engineering initiatives with business and technology objectives by developing test strategies and quality metrics Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated tests for UI, API, functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed and quality Required qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; experience with CMS-driven websites is a plus 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including manual and automated testing in Agile environments Proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar programming/scripting languages with experience in automated test frameworks Hands-on experience with UI, API, functional, regression, smoke, and integration test automation and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to validate data integrity and troubleshoot application issues
