Good afternoon, here is our first request for Ascension. We plan on having one of our techs onsite to act as Lead. Looking to have tech names identified by 9/16 for badging. Thank you!
Five (5) L1 & L2 Field Tech resources are needed in Saginaw, Michigan area to support a large telephony, infrastructure, and software/hardware refresh project at hospital site. Telephony site survey of the 4 hospitals/buildings included above, approximately 2,700 phones to be located.
Onsite working as a team walking the floors of a hospital facility, identifying where all telecom devices are, working with healthcare clinicians who have little time to help us understand the layout (theres a switch or telecom device stuck in a drawer or hidden in a closet).
Contract - 2 Weeks, Weeks of 9/23 AND 9/30, M-F, 8AM-5PM. There will be more of the same work in Michigan to come in October and ongoing, these people could become go-tos for this long term project!
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Field Technician experience
- Solid phone placement and telephony knowledge
- Comfortable taking direction, following defined processes, can act in supervisory role if needed
Nice to Haves:
- They know their way around a switch room and closet to identify potential issues with installing new Avaya equipment.
- Has the skill to run cross-connects and simple cabling between the equipment and the wall field in the switch room.
- Knows the inner connectivity of wiring between switch and endpointsomeone who has Avaya knowledge and can rack and stack servers and gateways.
