Receives and processes their transactions, requests, and concerns with an enthusiastic quality service and member advocacy orientation. Also assists Member Service Reps in non-member contact responsibilities./ppEssential Responsibilities/pulliAssists Member Service Reps by telephone and via email by operating an on-line computer terminal to process their requests./liliTalks with Members about their concerns, including, but not limited to problems with their loans, force-placed insurance, and vehicle title questions./liliPerforms miscellaneous duties including but not limited to processing Loan Payoffs, Denials, Lien Perfections, Collateral Protection Insurance, Vehicle Titling Registration, Debt Protection Claims, and GAP/Warranty Claims./liliAssists other Branches when information is needed from loan files./liliMay train new employees./liliPrepares paid loan information including, but not limited to, sending the proper documentation to the member, and assisting members and other financial institutions with pay-off requests./liliPerforms quality review audits to ensure accuracy of the consumer loans./li/ulpNecessary Experience and Qualifications/pulliAbility to read, write, and comprehend detailed and sometimes technical instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as normally acquired through completion of a high school education./liliAbility to operate an on-line computer terminal (including a good working knowledge of the core computer system, Velocity, DNA, Dealertrack, email, and internet), fax machine and adding machine normally acquired through a basic course or one to three months of on-the-job experience./liliWorking knowledge of the products, services, and procedures needed to process transactions as normally acquired through three to six months of on-the-job experience, at least one of which is with the Credit Union./liliAbility to closely examine documentation. Requires a high degree of accuracy./liliAnalytical ability necessary to research and resolve loan questions./liliInterpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of employees in stressful situations./liliAbility to stay in one place for extended periods of time, handle a fast-paced working atmosphere, and to transport objects weighing between five and twenty pounds for one percent of work time./li/ulpWork Environment and Physical Requirements/pulliOffice environment with moderate level of noise/liliFrequent use of telephone, copier, computer, fax machine and other office machines/liliProlonged sitting or standing/liliFrequent mental and visual concentration/liliMinimal lifting of up to 25 pounds/li/ulpThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed in this position.
