Distribution Center Operations Supervisor

Location: Carrolton, Texas

Job Type: Full-time | Salaried | Exempt

When the dock doors roll up, you set the pace. You’ll guide a frontline team, align inbound receipts with storage plans, and keep outbound shipments moving on schedule. Safety practices are second nature, inventory is accurate because you’ve built the right routines, and the crew knows where to focus because you’ve trained and coached them well. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with shipping and receiving, resolve snags quickly, and track performance so every shift ends stronger than it began.

• Lead and supervise warehouse personnel: build schedules, train new hires, and manage performance with clear goals and feedback.
• Oversee inbound, storage, and outbound activities to ensure accuracy, speed, and quality.
• Protect inventory integrity through routine cycle counts and audit routines.
• Champion a safe workspace by implementing and enforcing policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, shipping, and receiving to remove bottlenecks and optimize flow.
• Troubleshoot operational issues promptly, escalating when needed.
• Keep an eye on equipment and facility upkeep, initiating maintenance as required.
• Produce reports on warehouse KPIs, stock levels, and workforce performance.
• Cultivate a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (required).
• Hands-on warehouse operations background; prior supervisory leadership is preferred.
• Proven people leadership with strong coaching and team management skills.
• Exceptional organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of WMS platforms and inventory control practices.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Physical capability to perform warehouse work, including lifting and extended standing.
