The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall supervision, direction, completion, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. You will lead project teams from planning through completion while managing contractual requirements, trade partners, schedules, budgets, project finances, quality, and risk.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires someone who can balance the details of day-to-day project management with the broader goals of project profitability, client satisfaction, and successful project delivery.

The position is based in our Jacksonville, Florida corporate office and requires regular travel to active jobsites.

What You'll Do

• Create, maintain, and regularly update project schedules; track events, impacts, and changes to identify, manage, and prevent delays.
• Ensure construction activities progress according to schedule and project profitability forecast; monitor progress and conduct regular status meetings.
• Manage project finances, including budgets, buy-out, schedules of values, job costs, requests for payment, owner billings, cost reviews, subcontract change orders, and owner change orders.
• Oversee trade contractor performance and review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure specifications and applicable regulations are followed.
• Manage, track, and follow up on RFIs and submittals.
• Execute projects in accordance with Owner Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchase Order Agreements, Service Agreements, and Master Service Agreements.
• Work with Estimating to coordinate plans, specifications, and bids and finalize subcontractor scopes.
• Negotiate competitive pricing with vendors and subcontractors while ensuring complete and accurate scopes.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
• Serve as a client contact, manage expectations, provide expert consultation, and resolve disputes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues and implement solutions to support project and organizational success.
• Regularly travel to active jobsites as required to oversee project execution and communicate with field teams and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be an experienced construction professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and take ownership of project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of related construction experience; multifamily construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, complete, and error-free work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to effectively use software applicable to project management responsibilities.
• Willingness to regularly travel to active jobsites.
• Reliability, professionalism, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn.
