Our client, a leader in automotive access and security systems, is seeking a dedicated Tool Room Supervisor to oversee daily operations and drive innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Housekeeping: Champion a strong 5S culture, enforce safety protocols, and maintain safety KPIs for management reporting.Production: Achieve new tooling build goals, support manufacturing operations, and ensure efficient personnel and asset management.Quality & Employee Development: Foster a quality-first culture, ensure adequate employee training, and drive continuous improvement activities.Customer Satisfaction: Participate in customer tours and ensure product meets customer acceptance criteria.Cost Reduction: Implement Lean tools, participate in Kaizen events, and identify cost-saving projects.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar tooling/tool room leadership role.Journeyman Tool & Die maker preferred.Experience in Kaizen and 5S implementations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client-specific software.Direct supervision of skilled and unskilled associates is required, including responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
