About the Position

Job Title

Travel - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Day Shifts | Variable Schedule with Call Requirements | Guaranteed 36 Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties within a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures across a 6-OR unit
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Accurately document patient care and procedural information using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in on-call rotation as required per unit scheduling needs
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR specialty experience
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Active Texas CST license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to fulfill call requirements as discussed during the interview process

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures in an acute care hospital environment
