Bulk Terminal Operator - Elizabeth River

What We Are Looking For Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious unloading and loading of bulk products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars, and trucks. Key Responsibilities Operate front end loaders, skidsteer, forklift, dozer, excavator, and other small equipment. Perform general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals, including extensive training in railcar, truck, warehousing, vessel operations, safety and environmental training as required. Ensure the safe and efficient transfer of bulk products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars and trucks. Report equipment abnormalities or failures to supervisor. Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance, including upkeep of assigned equipment or tools. Perform any other terminal function as trained and instructed by supervisor. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Meet and maintain certification for the use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134. Secure and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWICS) card. Demonstrated aptitude to execute customer orders and maintain necessary records. Work effectively with a team, take direction from supervisors, maintain required schedules, focus on detail, and follow work rules.
