Job Details Compensation: Hourly base pay range $18 per hour plus tips. Work Schedule: Overnight shifts, open availability. Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Duties include parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, and providing information about the property and the surrounding area. Essential Functions Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using their last names. Use the salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; practice proper phone etiquette. Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities; delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations. Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys; completes and maintains all ticket information and records. Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licensure / Certification: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance. Work Experience: One (1) month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and Skills: Customer service principles; basic reading, writing, and arithmetic; understanding of 24‑hour, military time, and rate calculations; ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking. Scope and Authority The role is fairly routine and follows established procedures. Incumbents act within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Employees have limited budget control. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting (up to 100 pounds). Weather exposure for outdoor work; travel up to 5%. Requires hearing and speaking; ability to see comfortably.
