Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the Epic EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in one role, dates must be provided to clarify usage periods
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience
