Job Summary:
The position is for a registered nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) procedures in San Francisco, California. This role involves supporting interventional cardiology and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including structural heart interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/18/2026, with a shift that includes 12-hour day shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, minimum of 5 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Cardiology, or Electrophysiology. Experience with Structural Heart procedures and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is required. Ability to float to other UCSF facilities is necessary.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult diagnostic catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, and procedural sedation.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with interventional procedures including cardiac stent placement, ASD closures, Sheath removal/monitoring, and Ventilator Management. Candidates must provide two references from their most recent employer at the time of submittal. Vaccinations include the COVID-19 vaccine and booster; medical or religious exemptions are allowed.
