Job Description As a Security Officer - Screening Specialist in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items entering designated areas in accordance with location procedures and escalation guidelines. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or prohibited activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Support security‑related operations for a fast‑paced technology, media, and/or telecommunications location by documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and communicating relevant information to site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access. Minimum Requirements A current guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
